Radio Linking with EchoLink

EchoLink provides hams with a means of connecting radios (repeaters or simplex links) over the internet. If a router is used, TCP port 5200 and UDP ports 5198 and 5199 must be open to pass packets. TX & RX audio and control signals (PTT & COS) are sent. VOX control is supported but not advisable, in my opinion. Audio quality is equal to IRLP if operator setup is competently done.
